trying to change someone is exhausting
changing someone is almost impossible

i've been thinking alot last night...
and i realised that it's really taxing to change someone to suit u
especially your partner...
i mean i totally agree that opposites attract
and because of this, there'll always be disagreements and misunderstandings
because of our differences
so you'll try to change ur partner to suit u
but after trying, u realise that it's an almost impossible task
so you'll give up and change urself instead to suit ur partner
so as to avoid quarrels and arguments
but after changing urself, u'll feel that you're not you anymore
and that it's way ridiculous to be doing all these changes
that it isnt fair
and that you're doing so much more for the r/s as compared to your partner
and that's how things go haywire

if given a choice, i'd rather be with someone on the same platform as me
having the same personality, character, sex appeal, X factor, education, goals, dreams etc...
although this would sound too boring
but then again, i believe it beats having to disagree with each other all the time
i'm suddenly so tired of having to try so hard and work so hard to keep the r/s going
if only... we were similar in just one or two ways...
i'll be thankful!
